The opening reception for my solo exhibition on November 20 was good! In addition to be well-attended by friends and family, it was the first opening during which I wasn't desperate to run and hide in the corner. Art exhibitions are an excellent opportunity for an artist to show her work to the general public, however, this opportunity comes with heaping spoonfuls of vulnerability. But it was good this time!
